The 18650 shell insertion machine (DEC), a semi-automatic 18650 battery cell shell insertion machine independently designed, has been mass-produced, and blueprints for direct production are available. The battery cells are manually fed onto the belt, and the machine completes automatic steel shell feeding, shell direction automatic rotation adjustment, automatic adjustment of the electrode tab direction, automatic punching and assembly of the negative electrode gasket. Oversized battery cells are automatically sorted and removed. After shell insertion, the cells are automatically aligned into a plastic frame, and the frame automatically switches.
