This non-standard equipment (abrasive belt polishing machine) is a complex custom machine that alters the diameter or shape of wire materials using a drawing die from spool to spool to achieve the desired diameter or shape. The wire needs lubrication when entering the drawing die, and the die has specialized cooling (usually a water-cooled jacket). The take-up machine provides power. The mechanical structure of this machine is well-designed and serves as a great reference for designers.
